I have been a photographer for the past 3 years and have worked mostly in portraiture and architectural photography. I’m particularly interested in photographing American lifestyle and social culture through those two lenses, paying special attention to various American spaces and institutions. Most of my work as a photographer relates back to this central identity as an American and my experience living in this country.

I practiced photography for three years at Phillips Academy Andover, under Hector Membreño-Canales. In this role I studied studio-based photography, and the cultural + social dimension of photography. I now practice photography at the University of California, San Diego, under Paul Sepuya.
